Champions for Ranked Games

So, I finally had my Ranked Game cherry popped yesterday. I've been kind of a wuss about it since I always doubt my own skill level (especially compared to some of you), so I finally did it. My first game as Singed was wonderful; my teammates and I all raped shit and we forced a surrender at 25 minutes. I think it was like 15-2 on team kills.

On the other hand, my second one (played at 1AM, derp), as Renekton, wasn't quite as good. I had the highest positive K/D's on my team with a miserable 6/4/1x, with our Xin Zhao behind me at 10/9/7. There was much wasted focus on Shen, and lots of ignoring Brand and Kog'Maw. In any case, you get the idea. Solo Queue at low ELO = match me with retards. But I still want to keep playing Ranked. And I've decided that I'm probably going to hold off on play tank or tanky bruiser, because neither of them can actually carry the game, unless I'm last pick and my team still has no tank.

Now that you're all bored as hell of the lengthy intro...

TL;DR: How's my champion lineup (with mastery and rune pages) look for Ranked Solo Queue?
Ashe
Ezreal (AD or gtfo)
Kassadin (I haven't played him in a while, I just needed a "mage" in the lineup...might swap him out, suggestions?)
Nidalee (AP, for spears like ICBM's and better single heals than Soraka)
Renekton
Singed
Twisted Fate (AP, I don't like TF's auto-attack range)

The six out of seven games I've won in solo queue, I've jungled. The 5 out of 6 that I lost, I was not jungling.

Kassadin is a strong mage/ antimage
I wouldn't say TF, cause you have to rely on your teammates to keep them off of you
Singed is always cool
I know you're good at Nidalee

If you want to jungle, get Warwick, just farm till level six, pop out for ganks every once and a while, farm in the jungle, cause at 1200 elo, you can out farm mid lane by jungling.

They are all really good, if you want another mage malz is amazing!

Its the fact he can carry with a tanky dps most people cant carry with.

No lie, Blitzcrank is only killable, when Diglett tries to protect Cris from me and wuts his face.

Any character in the right team comp is good if you can carry with them or help carry.

Ya I've found it pays more to respond to enemy picks, second to last pick is my fav spot. Not screwed in to tanking necessarily, but you get a chance to pick a very effective counter to what the enemy team has.

And if you do have to tank, you can see what you're up against and choose a tank responsively.

Definitely better to pick a carry over a tank in solo though like you said for sure. If the tank fails you can get around it as a carry but if you have no good carry and you're tanking you're much more limited.

Idk, disables of all types are the most important to have an effective team. Even if you're a bunch of retards, if you have four champs with aoe cc its gold.

Sooooooo Ez is shit unless your picking last and your team has exceptional cc imo, everyone else is win. Nid's heal and burst is facemelting.

Yeah counter picking wins games as long as you can carry with them.
