I think yeah beds reset your spawn but they dont skip night unless the whole server sleeps, which if youre the only one on is actually feasible but i mean wat

Sweet because it will help alot if i find an island i want to build on then i get creepered

Had a weird problem today, its back up and looks like its running normally but I kind of did a soft reset.

Let me know if you see any issues, everything appears to be exactly the same.

Also pretty sure I successfully made it run a boatload faster even on new areas.

EDIT: logged on, decided to go in the nether the direction opposite where I afked with a boat to the new super islands, and came out in an even more epic giant mountain biome surrounded by swamps with vines. YEAHHHHHHHHHH.

Man the new mapgen is great I've been walking around for hours stopping to build small outposts at night. Main goal is to get back to the ocean from where I came out of the nether but I might be going the wrong way, definitely hit the mainland.

whatever happend when it shut down last reset the mapgen, so the edges where I met the coastline are sheared. Still a giant ocean though and the new area is sweet sooooooo meh.

I think when 1.9 goes full and bukkit catches up to it officially I'll make a portal map and open a bunch again, with a new map for 1.9 cause this shit is ghey.

Man that was hilarious. I guess plan on still having this map saved and shit, but when 1.9 goes full I'll have a limited portal world with like a medium sized portal room going to like a couple new seeds or something.

I guess it'd actually be kind of cool, like terraria ish since youd be able to take your shit with you to other maps. Bukkit needs to update so the default server stops being a gay.

so the server has become stagnant, ryan had a decent idea.

I think i'm going to update to 1.91 or whatever and then use a massive amount of tnt to create a crater for spawn, i mean its kind of like an island if its enough tnt.

SO in order to not make the shit rig its running on explode and burn my house down imma make a new spawn put some tnt on it in a map editor or something and blow it the fuck up after I update to the newest release.

Then the next day, no doubt, Notch will release 1.9 official. FUCK IT WE'RE GOING LIVE.

Looks like there is a MC1.0 build of Bukkit out, I'm going to set it up and turn her on tomorrow bros, unless I end up not being able to sleep today.

Also, Jeb said they're going to be doing the same pre-release unofficial builds every week, so I'm going to stick to what bukkit is up to on the server for the future because, fuck that shit. It's kind of cool we can sneak peak the new stuff but I'd like to have the mapgen stay normal for a few months -_-

k type /mvtp Island, then if you have to /mvtp world takes you back to the spawn world.
